Luke Briscoe has over 18 years experience in the creative industries. He is a newfound indigenous writer, director from far north Queensland and founder of Ngujakura Productions, an indigenous multimedia company based in Brisbane. Mr Briscoe has a certificate IV in screen and media and a portfolio of broadcast credits with NITV as a producer, director, writer and cinematographer, which will preview in 2010.



Mr Briscoe was a panel member at the 2009 Colourise Brisbane International Film Festival as an Indigenous writer/director/co-producer of a QPIX short film in his Ku Ku Yalanji country, Mossman/Daintree (FNQ). Mr Briscoe is passionate about his culture and sharing his cultural knowledge and experiences through film.
